“How much should it cost to get the suit tailored?”
People often ask me that
My answer is always the same.
But the right one in the first place and you won’t to have it get tailored at all…
Let me explain.
If you go to a shop often times you will get an off-the-peg suit that is nowehere near what it should have been taking your curves into consideration.
That’s why here at Michael Frackowiak Bespoke Tailor Liverpool we thought of it slightly differently.
We thought why don’t we sell a suit that is half finished, and then when customer gets to our atelier in the ALBERT DOCK in Liverpool, we actually custom fit that on him.
So there is no need for an expensive alteration costs, andthe suit itself could be anything from £400-£500.
Ok, but what if you already got a suit from someone else?
Then I would say you have to consider this:
Go to a place that has got good reviews on google and pay that extra premium if this place is not the cheapest.
Don’t go for the cheapest.
So, How much should it cost to get a suit tailored?
Pay around £70 for jacket alteration (sleeves length and taper and side seams)
Pay around £50 for trousers alteration (length, waist and slim the trousers down slightly)
SHirt alteration should not be more than £40.
So all together you should spend £150 on your suit and shirt alterations.
How much should it cost to get a suit tailored?
Hope it was useful.
