Groom and Groomsmen
The groom and his party
I dress the groom to stand apart. Not apart from the occasion. Apart within it. Your bespoke wedding suit should be immediately recognisable as yours: in its tailored fit, its luxury cloth, and the quiet authority it carries. Every man I dress for a wedding gets that made-to-measure treatment. No two suits are the same because no two men are each groom's outfit is custom-tailored to suit, silhouette, and personal style.
For grooms bringing the full wedding party, I cut every man individually. Groomsmen, fathers, brothers. Each to his own frame, in his own made-to-measure suit. No two suits identical. Every piece built by the same hands, in the same room, to the same tailoring standard. The result is a group that looks considered, not coordinated bespoke menswear that reads as a cohesive wedding look without falling into matching uniforms.
I also dress fathers of the bride and groom, and any member of the wedding party who wants a bespoke suit built for them rather than borrowed from a rack. Contact me to discuss group commissions, made-to-measure tailoring, and wedding suit timeline planning.
THE STANDARD YOU SET ON THIS DAY
the fit, the cloth, the detail. nothing left to chance

STEP 1 . WEEK 1
Private consultation. Fabrics, style and fit brief.
The first appointment is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We meet at my Crosby studio, your home, or your place of work, wherever suits you best across Liverpool and Merseyside. I want to understand the wedding: the venue, the time of year, the occasion you are dressing for, and the impression you intend to carry. Whether you're after a classic three-piece or sharp Italian wedding suits, from there I guide you through the finest English and Italian cloths. Holland and Sherry, Scabal, Dugdale, Loro Piana, Zegna. Every bespoke wedding suit is built around you, not pulled off a rail.

STEP 2 . WEEK 4-5
First fitting. Structure and proportion.
Your canvas suit is ready. This is the stage that separates bespoke wedding suits from everything else. The canvas is the structural foundation of the garment, built entirely from scratch to your measurements, the mark of true made-to-measure and tailored wedding suits. At this fitting I am looking at the shoulder, the chest, the seat, the way the suit moves with your body. Most clients leave this stage knowing exactly what their finished groom suit will be.

STEP 3 . WEEK 7-8
Second fitting. Refinements.
Every adjustment from the first fitting is incorporated. The suit is beginning to look like itself, the hallmark of properly tailored wedding suits in Liverpool. Finishing details are confirmed at this stage: lining, buttonholes, any personal touches that set luxury wedding suits apart from anything off the rail. If anything needs a final refinement, we mark it and make it right before the last stage, the kind of care you only get from a dedicated wedding suit tailor.

STEP 4 . WEEK 10-12
Final collection. Press and deliver.
Your suit is pressed and ready. You come in for a final fit confirmation. Then it is yours, your own custom wedding suit made here in Liverpool. Cut to your posture, finished by hand, the lasting alternative to wedding suit hire, ready for the day and every occasion that follows it.

Fabrics for Weddings
Choosing the right cloth for your wedding suit
The cloth you choose will define everything: how the suit moves, how it photographs, how it performs across a full day in whatever the North West decides to do with the weather. I source from the same mills used by the finest tailors in the world, the foundation of every luxury wedding suit and made-to-measure wedding suit I build in Liverpool. Every recommendation is made for your wedding suit, not in the abstract.

Holland and Sherry. Classic British cloth for North West weddings.
Holland and Sherry have supplied the finest tailors in Britain for over 180 years. Their worsteds, twills, and cool-wool blends carry a refined texture that reads beautifully in the architecture of Liverpool's great venues and the open grounds of a country estate, ideal for bespoke wedding suits and groom suits in Liverpool alike. If you are marrying in a church, a manor, or a marquee in Lancashire or Cheshire, this is where I start the tailored wedding suit journey.

Loro Piana. Lightweight luxury for warm venues and summer weddings.
Loro Piana's Super 150s and hopsack weaves are among the finest lightweight cloths made. Exceptionally breathable, smooth against the skin, and luminous in photographs, everything you want from luxury wedding suits in Liverpool. For summer weddings, heated ballrooms, or any occasion where comfort across a long day matters as much as appearance, this is the natural choice for your made-to-measure wedding suit.

Scabal tropical wool. Built for heat, structure, and destination weddings.
Scabal's tropical wool is woven specifically for warmth and humidity. Breathable, structured, and highly resistant to creasing, the qualities that define a properly tailored wedding suit. For grooms travelling abroad to marry, or any North West wedding that moves between an outdoor ceremony and a warm reception venue, it holds its form from the morning until the last dance, exactly what you want from bespoke groom suits in Liverpool.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ten to twelve weeks from first consultation to final delivery. I recommend starting at least twelve weeks before your wedding date. This gives us time for the consultation, a canvas fitting at week four or five, a refinement fitting at week seven or eight, and final collection at week ten to twelve. If your date is closer, contact me and I will tell you honestly what is achievable.
It depends on the cloth chosen and the complexity of the commission. My bespoke suits are priced to reflect the quality of fabric sourced from houses like Holland and Sherry, Loro Piana, and Scabal, the time invested across multiple private fittings in Liverpool, and the standard of hand finishing applied throughout. Contact me or book a consultation for a personalised quote. The first conversation costs nothing.
No. The most considered wedding parties are coordinated, not identical. The groom should stand clearly apart in cloth, colour depth, or finishing detail, while the groomsmen share a related but distinct look. I advise on this during your consultation based on the venue, the time of year, and the overall tone of the wedding.
Yes. My studio is in Crosby, Liverpool. Every suit is cut and made here, by hand, in our own workrooms. Clients come from across Merseyside, the Wirral, Cheshire, and the wider North West. If you are planning a wedding in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, or anywhere in the region, this is where your suit begins.
Yes. I build morning coats, dinner suits, and tuxedos to the same bespoke standard as every other commission. If your wedding calls for a morning coat, we discuss the cloth, the cut, and the waistcoat during your consultation. Everything is made to your measurements, by hand, in Liverpool.
